The commission nobody told you about
Every circuit. Every cloud contract. Every license renewal. Every security tool.
The supplier pays it. Every single time. The only question is WHO collects it.
Right now, it is probably your MSP, reseller or IT consultant. You spend months scoping the project. You build the business case. You get it approved. Then your MSP registers the deal with the vendor and collects a commission on YOUR work. On top of that, they add margin to the services they wrap around it.
You did the work. They got paid twice.
The old way
Your MSP or consultant registers the deal
1. You scope, justify and approve the project.
2. MSP registers it with the vendor in their name.
3. MSP collects the supplier commission.
4. MSP adds margin to services on top.
What you keep
$0
The RFP way
You register the project first
1. You register the project here in two minutes.
2. You run your process with the same vendors.
3. No markup. Direct pricing, lower, with better terms.
4. The supplier commission is paid to you. On every renewal.
What you keep
The commission
The commission is already baked into the supplier’s price. Registering your project under us costs you nothing extra. Not a dollar. You get LOWER pricing and BETTER terms than going through a middleman, every time, because nobody is layering margin on top.*
70 to 80%
of enterprise IT spend categories pay a supplier commission. Connectivity, cloud, UCaaS, CCaaS, colocation, security, SaaS.
10 to 25%
of monthly recurring revenue is the typical commission rate, paid for the life of the contract.
$0
added to your price. The supplier charges the same whether a commission is paid or not.
*Direct supplier pricing with no reseller markup. Compared to the same vendor quoted through an MSP or consultant adding margin.
How it works
We do not sell you anything. You keep your vendors, your negotiations and your timeline. The only thing that changes is where the commission lands.
1
Register your project first
Before you talk to a single vendor. Just pick your supplier and requirements. Takes two minutes.
2
Run your process your way
Same vendors. Same RFP. Same negotiations. We never get between you and the supplier.
3
Get the backup you need
Sales engineers, negotiators and procurement support on call so the project moves faster. Optional, always.
4
Get paid on everything
Every contract you procure under your registration. Including every renewal. Evergreen, for as long as the contract lives.
What you get
We get paid by the supplier only when your project closes well. So our job is simple: help you run it quickly and successfully. Use as much or as little of the bench as you want.
2 minutes. No sales call.
Sales engineers
Vendor-neutral technical review of every quote so you compare apples to apples.
Negotiators
We know what suppliers actually accept on price, terms and exit clauses. You decide, we push.
Procurement and contracts
Contract review, renewal tracking and paperwork handled so your team stays on the project, not the admin.
Fully disclosed
You get a one page disclosure letter for Finance or Legal, and you choose whether the commission is paid to you or your company.
Why this matters now
Nobody knows what IT teams look like in three years. What we do know is that the contracts you sign today keep paying for years. Registering them means a recurring income stream that follows you, not your job title.
Everything you want exists on the other side of fear. This is a two minute form.
Example: VoIP / UCaaS (think Zoom or RingCentral)
500 seats at $25 per seat. A $12,500 per month phone system on a 36 month term. Supplier pays a 10% monthly commission plus a standard one time bonus of 4x the monthly bill.
Upfront bonus (4x monthly bill)
$50,000
Monthly commission (10%)
$1,250 per month
Over the first 36 months
$45,000
Total, first term
$95,000
On renewal
$1,250 a month keeps going
Illustration only. Rates and bonuses vary by supplier and category.
Who is behind this
Run by channel operators, not a faceless portal.
Request for Pricing is operated by RFP Partners LLC, based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Our team has spent years inside the IT channel, on the supplier, distributor and consulting sides, and knows exactly how deal registration and commissions work.
RFP Partners is not an MSP and is a separate company from any reseller or consulting firm. We do not sell hardware, licenses or managed services, and we never add margin. We are the registration layer that points the supplier’s commission to you.
How the money flows
Commissions are paid by suppliers through the same technology distributors (TSDs) your reseller uses. We register your project with them and direct the payout to you or your company. We name the distributor on your registration paperwork before you sign.
What we never do
Sell you anything. Add margin. Share your details with anyone except the suppliers you shortlist. Push a vendor because it pays more.
Proof
Program launched 2026. Commission statements and references are shared with registrants on request, before you sign.
Questions IT leaders ask
We never notify your company. Whether you share the arrangement is your decision. If you want to, we provide a one page disclosure letter for Finance or Legal, and you can choose to have the commission paid to your company instead of you.
Register your project
Do not let your MSP register a deal and cash a check on your work. Two minutes now protects every renewal for years.
✓
No cost, no commitment, no sales call
✓
Fully disclosed, with a letter for Finance or Legal included
✓
Paid to you or your company, on every contract and renewal
Is this legal?
Yes, when it is disclosed.
Supplier commissions are a standard part of the IT channel. The only question is who the supplier pays. You choose the payee, you or your company, and we give you a one page disclosure letter for Finance or Legal.
Payment terms
Paid by RFP Partners LLC to you or your company. Your choice at registration.
Monthly, within 30 days of the supplier paying us. 1099 issued for personal payees.
If a supplier claws back a commission, we reduce future payments. You never owe money back.
Full registrant agreement shared before you sign anything.
